I just saw CNN and found good news regarding to stock market. On Monday, December 24, Santa Claus rally continued to result in strong gain after did the same on last Friday, basically behind many good news in US economy : strong profitability of Oracle, capital infusion of Merril Lynch & Co by Temasek Holdings & Co - Singapore. On Monday, Merryl Lynch got capital infusion for the second time from Davis Selected Advisor, US-based money manager and total infusion for Merryl Lynch is USD 6.2 Billions. Dow Jones rose 98.68, or 0.73 percent, to 13,549.33.

Regional stock market showed strong result also, average rise plus minus 0.5-1 percent ( Europe, Asia, SE Asia ). By this, investors could be positively waiting for the dynamics of market before closing the year 2007. It seems there will be no significant news which will impact market on the last 3-4 days before year end 2007. The mood of the market is ‘happy’ now.

As for Indonesia stock market, which does not have strong fundamental and always follow what happened in US and regional stock market, after holiday for 4 days since Dec 20, and, given the fact all stock markets were rebound due to good news in US economy between Dec 20-Dec 24, JSX is predicted to rise again. No bad news from the country, hopefully no bad news in US and regional market; if it happens so, then investor face will smile at least until the opening day of stock market in 2008.
